Room designRoom Design
We have come up with an original design that is unique to the area and is unique to hotel MONday. It is based on the theme of "travel" in Hamamatsucho. The design incorporates Mount Fuji, and travelers will see Mount Fuji among the mountains as a landmark to head to Shinagawa-juku.
Wall and overall design
To the left of the bed is the words "Okoshiyasu Japan" written with Mount Fuji in the background.
A torii gate is placed at the foot of Mount Fuji, which can be seen in the distance, stimulating the imagination and creating the feeling of a visually pleasing journey to the land.
The overall color scheme is calm, creating an atmosphere for enjoying the scenery. Gradient is also used to create the impression that the color of the sky is changing.
The largest part of the wall depicts a traveler crossing a bridge and heading towards Shinagawa-juku.
Tokyo Tower, a defining feature of modern-day Hamamatsucho, is placed behind the building, expressing the feeling of leaving the area behind and continuing on one's journey.
The interior depicts pine trees and rough waves, expressing the special feeling that only a room like this can provide, allowing you to feel the scenery outside while still being inside the hotel.
The wall next to it depicts the townscape that the traveller continues on.
The window shows Tokyo Tower rising with Mount Fuji in the background, representing the view a traveler looks up at.
The table depicts Mount Fuji, rough waves and pine trees, expressing the expansive view that can be enjoyed while sitting.
The footstool features a migratory crane, creating the feeling of traveling together.
