"Okoshiyasu" is a word unique to Kyoto that expresses gratitude for coming to Japan from a faraway land.
The walls are decorated with American comic book-style designs of famous Japanese statues and portraits for guests to enjoy.

Room designRoom Design

Kyoto is a popular travel destination with many historical buildings and a place where you can feel the history of Japan. The first thing that catches your eye is a large ukiyo-e painting of a beautiful woman. To give you a feel of the unique atmosphere of Kyoto, we have incorporated a torii gate reminiscent of Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. We also incorporated a five-story pagoda and silhouettes of geishas to create a design that evokes the image of Kyoto's streets.
By combining it with the original American comic book style design, it is not stiff and has a unique expression.

Wall and overall design

The main motifs on the walls are "Ukiyo-e beauty paintings" and "Torii gates."
The foot throw incorporates motifs that evoke a Japanese feeling, such as fox masks, cranes, wooden clogs, and ukiyo-e.
The fox mask has a round appearance and an impressive design that is cute like a character.
The crane is said to be a symbol of longevity and is well known as an auspicious animal, and some say it brings good fortune.
The design is intended to wish visitors a happy journey and long life.
Furthermore, we were conscious of using purple as the base color to create a design that would give a feeling of Japan, while at the same time creating a sense of unity while remaining original.
