Room designRoom Design
Based on an "American comic book" theme, we have come up with an "original design" image that is unique to hotel MONday, combining the "past" and "present" of the area.
The design of Nihonbashi Suitengu Shrine is centered around the figure of a firefighter, and the bridge, unique to Nihonbashi, is an arched structure that evokes the scenery of the past, and is incorporated in various places, with undulating shapes that represent a river, adding a sense of dynamism.
Wall and overall design
The windows also feature a design reminiscent of Nishikigoi carp, and the townspeople are incorporated into the design to give a sense of the lives of the people of Nihonbashi in the past.
Every time you look at the walls you will discover something new, and they are designed to give you a sense of history.
