You can experience up close the techniques and texture of "Kyoto Karakami," which is primarily used for sliding door paper and wallpaper. In addition to the experience, the shop, ”Karamaru” also has a gift shop with a wide selection of products, including wooden stamps with woodblock motifs and interior items finished with Karakami.

ミニ版木摺り体験はハガキサイズの唐紙を摺る体験です。
紙12色文様9種類から好きな組み合わせを選び、絵具2色の他、ご自分で顔料を調合したもので摺ります。
オプションで小型ノート1冊、または大小2枚のポチ袋作りのどちらかをお選びいただけます。
気軽に摺り体験したい方や、皆で楽しく作品作りをしたい方におすすめです。

御朱印帳づくりは、3種類の版木の中からお好きな模様を選び、20色の和紙の中からお好みの色を選んで御朱印帳をお作りいただけます。

どちらのコースにも『版木スタンプ&スタンプインク』のおみやげが付きます。
※おみやげはお好きな柄のスタンプ、お好きな色のインクを1つずつお選びいただけます。

また、店頭には唐紙で仕上げたインテリア商品など多くの商品を取り揃えておりますので、部屋の飾りやお土産などにぜひご利用ください。

You can make hand-printed postcards using woodblocks with traditional patterns. Choose from 12 colors of paper and 9 patterns, and print with different colors. You can also make a small notebook or two sizes of envelopes.

To make your goshuincho, you can choose your favorite design from three types of wood blocks and your favorite color from 20 colors of washi paper.

Both courses come with a souvenir "block stamp & stamp ink." *For souvenirs, you can choose one stamp of your choice and one ink of your choice.
